It is traditional for each karate school to create its own code
of ethics, reflecting the most important principles of the school.
The code is often recited at the beginning or end of class. Whenever
the students recite the code, they are encouraged to think about
what each principle means and how they can apply it to their karate
practice and to their daily life.
I will be humble, respectful and courteous above all.
I will observe the ways of peace and teamwork.
I will practice with all the drive I have and strive for more than I think
I will have true courage in all facets of life.
I will strive for individual achievement for the benefit of others.
